AskAI terms of service

AskAI lets you run AI actions on text you select on web pages: rewrite, fix, translate, explain, summarize and more. Answers come from third-party AI models (see the privacy policy).

You sign in with Google. Keep your account to yourself; plans and tokens belong to the account that bought them and can’t be transferred. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Signed-in users get a daily allowance of free tokens on AskAI cloud (10,000 at the moment). We may change the allowance, and we may limit accounts that use automation or try to get around the limits.

• Lifetime Standard, Lifetime Premium and token packs are one-time purchases, sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; their buyer terms apply to the payment.
• “Lifetime” means for as long as AskAI is offered, without a subscription.
• Token pack tokens don’t expire. They’re used after your free tokens for the day.
• Purchases are matched to your account by email. If one doesn’t show up, or something went wrong with a purchase, email [email protected] and we’ll sort it out.

If you add your own API key, requests go from your browser to that provider under your agreement with them. You pay the provider for that use and are responsible for keeping the key safe.

Don’t use AskAI to break the law, harm or harass others, infringe others’ rights, or break the rules of the websites you use it on or of the AI providers. Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service.

AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Review them before you rely on or send them. You’re responsible for the text you send to AskAI and for what you do with the answers.

We improve AskAI over time. Features and AI models may change or be retired, for example when a provider shuts a model down. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

AskAI is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use AskAI after a change means you accept the new terms.
